Healthy Eating On-the-go: Wendy’s Grilled Chicken Sandwich

A delicious and healthy sandwich as long as you avoid the fries.

A few weeks ago, I was traveling and looking for a good meal. I could have had a burger, but elected to have a grilled chicken sandwich. It was not only delicious and filling, but also healthy. It had less than 400 calories, but you have to avoid the fries that come with the combo. Wendy’s does have a side salad. I would recommend that Wendy’s add apples or fruit to their menu as an option.

The sandwich was not dry. The tomato and honey mustard kept the sandwich moist. It ends up only having 370 calories and contains over 35 grams of satiety inducing protein.
