I talk to a lot of people about getting healthy and lose weight.  Ultimately, you did not gain that weight overnight, and you will not lose that weight overnight.  If you lack confidence, you will easily become discouraged.  Becoming healthy and slim takes consistency and confidence.  Once the healthy lifestyle has become the habit, it’s easier to make that commitment to exercise and eat right.  We all have a lot of excuses as to why we aren’t exercising or eating healthy. Excuses are for people who don’t want it bad enough.

Keep trying to meet your goal and develop consistency.  We all have a lot of excuses as to why we aren’t exercising or eating healthy.  Excuses are for people who don’t want it bad enough and lack the self-confidence to follow through with the lifestyle change.  Becoming more healthy is a slow process.  You don’t make it harder by quitting when you don’t see immediate results.  Start out slow by makings a dietary change or small exercise change such as walking.  Small daily improvements can lead to significant changes in your confidence and hence lead to long-term results.  

Self-esteem is the key to successful weight loss and confidence in yourself will keep you trying until you finally succeed.  If you believe you will be successful in weight loss, you will be successful in weight loss endeavour.   Believing in yourself is one half of successful weight loss.  If you do not believe in yourself, you will ultimately fail.    

The bottom line: Ultimately, believing in yourself is one half of successful weight loss.  Build your confidence and success will follow.
