New Years ResolutionsNew Years Resolutions

Life with less CRAP.

Ok, I have to admit that I do not live very healthy.  I lost a bunch of weight over the years, but I have failed to keep it off.  Once again, I have started to gain it off.  My dietary indiscretion is CRAP.  Over the holidays, I gained nearly 10 pounds.  That is a lot for 4 days.

Plain and simple, I have had too much junk.  I have had a lot of Christmas cookies, popcorn, candy, and alcohol.  To top it off, the alcohol was mixed with eggnog.  This one calorie dense liquid.

So how do I plan to change it and get back to a healthy lifestyle?  I am going to cut out the crap.  I am going to cut out the carbonated drinks, refined sugars, artificial food, alcohol, and processed foods.  I need to get back to the basics of eating and exercise better.

My goal is to get back to 195.  I now weight 207.  That is 12 pounds.  I plan to the there in 12 weeks.  The how to is the difficult part.

Plan:

  • Exercise: I plan to exercise 5 days a week and cut out the crap.
  • Diet:  I plan to eat more fruits and vegetables, lean protein and fish oil.
  • Hydration:  I plan to drink 8 glasses of water a day.

I hope you are as successful with your New Year’s Resolution as I plan to be.  The whole goals is a better and healthier life.  Good luck with your endeavors.
