Progress Report: 10 Weeks of Weight Loss

I am 10 weeks out from where I started and I just completed 13 days of vacation time. I knew it would be tough being at home. I have had a bunch of cake during my promotion ceremony and the days that followed. I that were not enough, we lost power 3 days after Hurricane Matthew. That meant eating out – Mexican at Mi Plaza. There is nothing like the empty calories of corn tortilla chips to cause weight gain.

Today is the moment of truth – I will weight in and start again. Ok, not too bad, I weight 215 lbs today.  I am sure a lot of that is water weight from the sodium load.  

Almost everyone has a relapse.  We will go back to weight loss today and start exercising again.  When I make weight, I will go to maintenance.

Since, I am geographically separated from my family, I will be given the opportunity to restart and try to make changes before I come home again.  I went home before I entered maintenance so I went right back to bad behavior.  Next time, I need to try to watch what I eat.
