If it sounds too good to be true, it probably completely false.  There are no quick fixes.  Some supplements may help, but most of them are not what they claim to be.  Anyone who’s ever tried to shed a few extra pounds from their midsection has looked to the local vitamin store for a quick fix.   The problem is that popping a pill is not going to do it, but choosing the right foods will help.  

Some supplements work.  Green tea is one of them, but instead of relying on some company to put it in a pill, just drink the stuff out of a cup.  It is not like dieters are stupid, they are just falling for the age old trick that these snake oil salesmen have laid down in front of them.  They use flashy boxes and ads and make really neat looking pills to attract your attention.  The problem is that you have no idea what is in those pills and there is no burden of proof on the manufacturer, and they do not even have to prove it is safe.   According to current FDA regulations, nobody has to prove that they work or that they are safe for humans to take.

The weight loss supplement industry is a multi-billion dollar sham industry.  Save your money and just buy some green tea.  One thing I can guarantee about green tea is that it is safe.  

The bottom line: Save you money because most of the supplements do not work for lasting weight loss and most that take them will gain weight over the next 12 months.
