Progress report: 11 January 2019

Progress reportProgress report

Slight improvement.

Name a diet, and you will find a diet that I have struggled to maintain.  I have tried Keto, low carb, paleo, and fasting.  I, like countless people, can tell me about my trials and tribulations with nearly every diet I have tried. Each time I tried a new diet, I saw a quick initial weight loss to only eventually fail.  Monday, I decided to change once again.  This time to the only thing that has worked for me.

On Monday, I made a decision to give up on fad and quick weight loss diets.  I started exercising again and I am moderating my diet by removing added sugar and limited carbohydrates.  I have made progress.  Monday, I weighed over 234.  Today, I weight 232.  That is progress and, hopefully, we will continue to see progress. Maybe it is a placebo, but I feel a little better.

Progress:

  • Weight:  232 down 2 pounds from 234.
  • Exercise: Walked for about 15-20 minutes a day.  I am working toward 30.
  • Meals: High fiber with moderate carbohydrates.

I will see you again on Monday weeks.  Hopefully, we will see improvement.
