Progress report: Return from Vacation

Time to back into the grind!

I am on my way back from vacation.  Two flights and I will back in Texas.  I am going to miss my family but it is time to get back to work.  This is a two-fold problem because depression often starts and ends with eating.  We are funny animals.  We eat when we are down but weight gain also brings us down.  Why do we do it?

I weighed in on my home scale.  I weight 215 pounds.  I am not sure how it compares to the home scale, but it typically weighed heavy.  If is it similar, I have gained 6 pounds on leave.  Tomorrow will lend an answer once I step on the scale in Texas.

No big deal.  Four weeks and I will be back where I was.  Who knows, maybe I gained some muscle.  I will cross my fingers.

I did not eat before the flight.  I had two cups of coffee at 4 am.  I am hungry so I will probably eat the pack Biscoff biscuits that American Airlines now gives as a snack.  I would prefer not to eat airline or airport food.  It is nasty and I am not sure it has any semblance of nutritional value.
