Dragon Fruit Blackberry Smoothie
Dragon fruit or Pitaya is a decent source of protein and it reportedly speeds up your metabolism making it a great fruit for weight loss. Pitaya is also high in Vitamin C which helps to boost your immune system. The fruit is cholesterol free and high in fiber. It is packed with B Vitamins, such as Vitamin B1, B2, and B3. You can get Dragon Fruit at your local farmers market and other locations you can buy it in your freezer section.
- 1 teaspoon of dragonfruit powder
- 1 mediam apple
- 1 cup blackberries
- 1 cup milk or milk substitute
- 1 tsp of honey - more edna be added if you want it sweeter
- 1 cup ice
- Place in blender and blend until smooth.
- Cook time equals blender time. Each serving has 7 grams of fiber.
