Have you tried to lose weight dozens of times and always end up frustrated?  Change is hard and weight loss is a change that is not different from any other change in life.  So you are counting calories, using portion control, avoiding empty calories, reducing your sugar intake, and increasing your exercise, but is that the really the way to lose weight?  Eating smaller meals and snacks may seem like the way to go.  The best way to lose weight is simple if you understand yourself.  I have struggled with my weight for years and I have failed multiple times.  It was not until I understood myself and why i failed that I finally found success.  

I failed because I failed to properly plan for the future challenges I would face.  I struggled by focusing on the failures of my past failed to plan for the reality that is the present.  We cannot go back to the past and we can not change our poor mistakes, but we can absolutely go forward and create our future.  This struggle to plan is unneeded.  The easy part is to visualize your future and see your success.  If you properly coach yourself to be successful, you will create your own future and maximize your chances of success.  You need to create the future because you are in the driver’s seat and in control of those poor decisions.  I am not saying it is only willpower, but there is a certain degree of willpower behind it.  

The best way to predict your future is to make your own future.  The future thin and healthy you is just one thought away.  Visualize yourself thin and make it happen.  Rehearse your plan daily prepares you to recognize and accept success.  Be proud and hold your head high because you have this because you will make your own future.  Build your confidence and be proud of your achievements.  

You need to focus on a vision of your success.  Journal and learn from your past, but focus on the future.  Visualizing you potential success prepares you to recognize and adapt to your future success.  All you have to do is close your eyes, take deep breaths, and imagine a picture of healthier and slimmer you.  Instead of beating yourself down, it is time to coach yourself to success and empower yourself to become more healthy.  Weight loss will surely follow.  We must empower ourselves to an approach to weight loss that is honest with ourselves.  If you do this you will create a maintainable weight loss technique that will nourish sustaining your body without depriving it of the food it needs to function to the point where you crave and binge.  

The Bottom Line: The Future is what you make of it.  Coach yourself into success and create your own future.  If you visualize your future success, you will see your success and increase your odds of meeting your goal.  You need to dictate the life you live, the body you have, and the successes you achieve.
