Ingredients:

 6 cups water
 2 cups steel cut oats
 ¼ tsp salt
 brown sugar and cinnamonoptional

Directions:

Spray interior of slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray.

Add all ingredients to slow cooker and stir.

Cook for 3-5 hours on low or until the desired texture is achieved.

Portion out and Enjoy!

Notes:
  1. A simple way to make steel cut oats.  
  2. A single cup of uncooked steel-cut oats will make 4 servings each with 5 grams of fiber.
  3. If you want more protein, use 4 cuts of fair life milk in place of the water. It would add 13 grams of protein and 80 calories per serving.
  4. If you need more flavor, add cinnamon and brown sugar, top of your choice such as fruit, or add some yogurt.
