Time for yet another change

2024 has not been a very good year for my weight.  Today, I am at 286 and feel terrible.  I weighed 290 at my max a few weeks ago.  My joints hurt, and I get tired all the time.  It was a tough couple of years for me, with multiple injuries and a return to my sedentary lifestyle. It began when I retired from the US Army. Now, I will change and try to return to a healthier lifestyle.  I visited my physician today, and I will start Adipex on Monday.  Sure, it is not the sexy GLP-1s, but it still works.  My insurance requires me to try it first, so here we go.  

  • Weight: 286 – Down 4 pounds.  
  • Exercise: Walked 0 days.  
  • Alcohol: Too much, but I am cutting back.  
  • Calories: About 1500-1800 day. 

The bottom line: I need to lose weight.
