Progress Update: December

The December Lull

Merry christmas and happy new year

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

The end of November and early December have not been conducive to sticking to a healthy lifestyle.  There have been a lot of parties and social functions.  That with the changing of the weather, I have not been exercising as much, and I have spent more time watching football.  Less exercise and more to eat is a dangerous combination, and it usually results in weight gain for me but this time is a little different because I have built up a bit more muscle and my metabolism significantly higher than the last two years.

My weight has been between 197-201 pounds which is still down from October, but my body fat has also dropped from 20.5% to 19.9%.   My diet and nutrition have been at about 1800-2200 calories per day.  I also still try to get 30 minutes of exercise 4-5 days a week and 10000 steps 4-5 days a week.  This year with all luck, there will be no Newe Year’s resolution.  I will not need to go on a diet for the April PT test.

On 20 December, I have a metabolic test being performed by the wellness center to determine my actual BMR.  I will post the results on the blog.
