This is a simple and healthy burger that you can make in about 30 minutes. It is has a nice garlic flavor.
Ingredients:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Place onion in a medium or large pan and drizzle over 1 tbsp of olive oil. Cook on medium heat until caramelized and soft.
Place onions in a bowl and wipe out the pan.
Toast bread in the oven for 1-3 minutes. You could use a toaster if you prefer. I used 1/2 slice for each side of the hamburger.
Mix beef with garlic paste and add salt and pepper to the desired level. I did this in a medium mixing bowl.
Cook on medium heat for 3-5 minutes per side or until browned. On the second side, add onions and 1/3 of cheese to allow the cheese to melt.
Put a thin layer of mustard on the inside of each slice of bread and place the meat on the "bun".
Enjoy!
