Splurges are a quick way to derail your diet.  

Don’t let a single slip up ruin your progress or knock you off the wagon.  The big thing is you need to not let one slip up turn into a whole day, month, or week of slip ups.  You cannot become fat from one meal, and one meal cannot make you skinny.  

If you has a rough week at work and needed a drink to relax or if you need a comfort food to lighten your stress, it is only a bump in the path and you can recover.  Jump back up, clean up your knees,  and let’s start again.  This is only a small scratch on the surface of the progress you have already made or a rain drop in the pond of success that you are creating.   

Good luck on your next meal or exercise opportunity.
