Progress report: Made Weight

Thank God, I made weight.

Help: My weight is out of Control

Help: My weight is out of Control

Today, I had my twice annual weight in for the military.  I made weight.  It has been a long time since I was overweight by military standards.  My height is 6′ 2.5″.  I am allowed to weight 220 pounds, but if they mess up my height, that shrinks to 214.  Today I weighed in at 214.9 pounds.

That means I did not have to do the walk of shame to the taping line.  As long as you meet the weight standard for your own height, you have full control of your future.  Slip above that number, and a whole lot of subjectivity is entered into the equation.  Three sets of measurements of your body proportions can throw a monkey wrench in anyone’s day.

The good news is that as long as I pass the PT test next week, I will have another six months to further refine my fitness and weight.

Weight: 214.9

Body Fat: 25.1

Finger crossed, and I will be below 210 pounds so0n.
