It is well known that exercise can help suppress your appetite. I am not saying that exercise will not deplete your sorted calories and make you need to eat. I am saying that exercise before meals can reduce your need to eat. I have found that I eat less if I exercise more.
While there is a part of me that relishes the idea that dieting could lead to me having sex more often. I only which I could have used this as a reason to get my spouse to participate more often when I was younger. Heck, I would like to use it now. I am not saying that my wife and I do nto have relations, but like most couples, it is not as often as either of us would like.
Research has shown that overweight people who reduced the amount of food that they consume by replacing that compulsion with sex were more successful at weight loss. People who do engage in sexual behavior following weight loss tend to be more likely to gain the weight back. In fact, people who do not really engage in that much sex at all, are less likely to be successful at weight loss.
Sex boosts your confidence and that can only help by spilling over to boost your mood as you lose weight. It is well documented that as blood sugar levels drop, we all become depressed. Anything we can do to boost our mood and energy can help with weight loss and sex is just one more means to make us more successful.
The bottom line: Sex can help with weight loss by reducing appetite so, you might do better to replace an occasional dinner with a nice roll in the hay. A healthy sex life may help control your appetite and reduce the amount of food you eat and it’s great exercise.
