A sweet, salty, and tangy treat for tastebuds.
This chicken recipe covers all the bases that I look for in a recipe I love. It is a combination of sweet, tart, and salty. It uses lean chicken breasts and takes less than 45 minutes to complete. This stuffed chicken recipe is easy enough to make on a busy weeknight and filling enough to keep a family satisfied for hours. It is not low in carbs but you will love it anyway.
This recipe is a delicious meal that will surprise you how well chicken does with apples. The recipe is easy to make and your family will love it. I will never have to have cheddar on my apple pie but I love this recipe.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Wash Apple.
Wash and dry your chicken breasts. With a sharp knife cut a pocket in the side of each chicken breast. Optional: peel apple. Chop apple into 1/4"-1/2" pieces. In a medium bowl, mix apple cheddar, lemon juice, 1/2 tsp thyme, 1/4 tsp oregano, salt, and pepper. Place mixture in pockets in chicken breasts. Close pocket with a toothpick.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet at medium-high heat. In a medium bowl, combine flour, 1/4 tsp thyme, salt, pepper, and wine-garlic seasoning. In another medium bowl, add water. Dip chicken breast in water and then flour mixture. Tap off excess. Place in hot oil. Repeat for each chicken breast. Cook one side until golden brown or 4-5 minutes. Flip and cook the opposite side for 3-4 minutes.
Please chicken on a pan in the oven for 5-7 minutes.
While the chicken bakes, make the sauce. Add chicken broth, apple juice, mustard, vinegar, and a pinch of dried thyme into a skillet on high heat, Cook for about 5 minutes or until reduced. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Plate chicken and drizzle with sauce.
